DELIVERING CLEAN DRINKING WATER
Over 1 million people do not have access to a clean drinking water supply. This more than half of households of Gaza, Palestine. The conflict has destroyed the region, disrupting one of the most basic needs of survival - water. Water filtration systems are broken, spreading raw sewage and transferring bacteria and disease. With Food for Change Singapore, we provide a long-term, sustainable water desalination system that can provide 24-hour access to clean drinking water to residents an critical infrastructure such as hospitals and schools. $360 SGD will help provide a year worth of water supply with a water desalination plant. (Partner: Food for Change Singapore)
10 million people lack access to clean drinking water in Myanmar. Amongst them, refugee populations are the most vulnerable group of all. Internally displaced personnel (IDPs) fall victim to water-borne illnesses, extreme dehydration and death. Your contribution has supported our campaign to provide a clean and safe supply of drinking water through 30 Wateroam water filters to 11 village and internally displaced person communities.
15 million people lack access to clean drinking water in Yemen. This is half of Yemen's population. The poorest country in the Middle east region is in dire need of assistance. Together with Global Ehsan Relief, we need your support by raising funds for clean water to meet their most basic needs. We hope to restore livelihoods in all districts across Yemen. $500 SGD will help provide a year worth of water supply with a water tanker. (Partner: Global Ehsan Relief Singapore)
More than 4 million refugees have fled Ukraine since the conflict began. Around 30 percent of the people in need are elderly.
